The Whistler DE1740 laser radar detector offers all-band protection--meaning it detects all available radar, laser, and safety radar systems--making it a great fit for anyone who spends a ton of time on the highway. The device scans the X, K, and Ka Superwide radar bands, the three standard bands used by most radar guns, while also watching out for VG-2 police surveillance equipment, which officers use to locate drivers with radar detectors. Thanks to the VG-2 cloaking technology, the detector is virtually invisible to officers on the road. The DE1740 also boasts Whistler's 360-degree Total Perimeter Protection, which detects signals from every angle to eliminate gaps in your protection.
