But, since it still carried a full warranty I decided to give it a try. When I got it, I took it to a local Radio Shack and they programmed it for me and I have been totally happy with this scanner ever since. The sound and quality is great. I have never been disappointed with anything that I have bought from Amazon. Why is it anymore whenever I buy something made in china it always breaks. I give it 2 stars becuase when it did work it did a great job. To bad Radio Shack doesn't sell quality anymore.
