This is an expensive scanner, but worth every penny. I highly recommend buying the Win500 software, which really simplifies programming.
Very sensitive receiver, pretty good filtering also. GRE has a long history of top rated scanners, this one is their best to date.
Read the specs, does almost everything. I'm using it on conventional, EDACS, Motorola, and digital trunked frequencies. Nothing but grins.

Great item. Fast delivery as usual. Had to take it to someone to get it programmed which was kind of a hassle but now works great.
FANTASTIC WHEN PROGRAMMED CORRECTLY,

Radio Shack and others sell Butel software, Netherlands, which means you'll have to register in a foreign country. It is also PC based.
Here's a WARNING based on my experience.
Since I didn't know anyone who could program the scanner for me, I ordered from an online retailer that offered pre-programming for my local area for $70.00. It would be great to have the scanner working right out of the box. Was I ever wrong. This was a huge mistake.
