Cord works well and seems to place less strain in the connector plug. The suction mount was really nice for the first two and a half months until the rubber pulled way and cracked at the spring/lever area. What a crummy product, couldnt even last 3 months.

Just a about 4 months later suction cup mount seperated into two pieces.
Payed $50.00 for this with the cable you would think it would last longer.Looks like
suction cup assy. is held together with silicone glue only.
