Comment: perfect for installing my 8500 on my visor pn my 08' 335i. [...] has all the tutorials but you will need a mini-fuse wire from pep boys, advanced auto, etc. to wire it up to the car's board. not hard at all by any means! sounds intimidating but it turns on when my car starts and turns off when the ignition is off too. perfect. highly recommended.

Comment: This is advertised for the escort but it works for the Bel V940 detector. Simple installation. Run the wires along the headliner, down the door to the fuse box. Find a circuit/fuse to wire to for the hot wire and connect the other wire, the ground, to a metal contact point on the vehicle. Plug in the connection at the the detector and there you have it,a detector with no connection to your cigarette lighter/accessory plug and no cord hanging in the middle of the vehicle. This also allows the detector to turn off when the vehicle is off and on only when the vehicle is on. (this last part depends of course on what circuit you wire the detector to at the fuse box)

Comment: Easy to conceal and to connect to fuse box. Plenty of length (about 9 1/2 feet). Easy to connect to and disconnect from detector. Better than having coil wire hanging in front of windshield. Excellent Product. Great price.
