    Purchased this unit a few months back and really liked it. The voice reminder to wear your safety belt became a little annoying after the first month. Initially I enjoyed driving past those portable speed indicators (Your Speed is...) along the road and watching this detectors display countdown the distance to the source. Seamed like a good purchase...
    After about 3 months the unit stopped detecting! Yes the mute worked, yes the city/highway selection worked, yes the unit turned on/off correctly, and Yes, every light, voice, and switch worked correctly but the unit would not detect any form of radar. I installed this detector new, right out of the box on my windshield and left it there. I guess it couldn't take the Texas heat.
