No matter where you are, the Coby CX-61 mini FM radio with neck strap lets you keep up with the latest news and traffic reports or just listen to the music station you're in the mood for. Extremely sleek and compact, with dimensions of just 1 x 3.5 x 1-inches, the CX-61 runs on two "AAA" batteries and hangs comfortably around your neck, letting you keep your hands free when you are running errands or just going out for a walk. A sensitive FM scanner and digital radio display help you find the best reception possible, and a built-in light lets you read the station settings at any time of day. Lightweight earphones are included to give you stereo sound without having to worry about disturbing others. So whatever you're doing, bring the CX-61 FM radio along and stay connected to the airwaves.

It keeps trying to jump up to the next frequency. Sometimes it will jump back down again, but other times it has to be reset.

I have used scanning digital radios before (cheaper than this one) and didn't have this problem. At first I thought it was a reception problem, but when it happened on strong signals as well as weak, and seemingly at random, I knew there was no hope for this radio.

I like the neckstrap and I use it with a different radio.

I experienced the same station-jumping that other users compained about. It just won't stick to a station. Also, mine broke after three months of light use. You get what you pay for.

1.0 out of 5 stars Too cheap to work well, June 1, 2006

The sound is a bit distoted, radio reception is OK. But the headphone cable is too short. The most anoying is that there is now way to keep the unit from changing stations at the slightest touch, CDs and iPods have a hold switch, this item keep going ot the next station with no way to lock it to a station. Also it does not store presets.
