This detector was helpful on numerous occasions. The description doesn't list it but, at least for the one I ordered from Amazon, it came with voice alerts. The voice alert is really useful because you don't have to look down to see if it's detecting the common X band (from a pharmacy) or if its laser in which case you know something is awry. If you can get a deal on one, go for it.

I liked this radar detector so well I bought a second unit to go in my other car, no need to swap one unit back and forth between the vehicles. It speaks various warning such as X & K bad alerts, Train Approaching, Road Construction Ahead, Emergency Vehicle Approaching, etc. This has to be without a doubt the very best unit I've ever seen or used. Auto muting drops the volume after the alart and the first couple of beeps so it isn't annoying.
Very very highly recommended!!!

Great Cobra radar! Decided i needed to get myself a radar detector. so i thought about Cobra..also because a friend of mines has one. He recommended it to me!. So! I Ordered it online, shipped fast and before you know it, it was here and I WAS putting it to us! Great service , would recommend
