Summary: same as new replacement, glad I found this. 2010-02-15
Comment: THe old mount for my radar was falling off the windshield to often.
I noticed the suction cups were practically flat.
I read someplace that if you place the cups themselves (removed from the bracket) in piping hot water.
They will go back to their original shape.
I figured what do I have to lose. I did it and the originals were fixed.
I think I paid as much for shipping as I did the product itself.
Either way I now have a mount I leave it my wifes car.
So when we take her car out on weekends, I can simply pop the radar into the other mount.
and its all set to go already. No lining up, just pop in and go.

I would recommend a spare mount for any cobra radar owners with more than one car in the family.
Item was shipped quickly, no problems, it was exactly as described.
