Cobra ESD7100 9 Band Radar/Laser Detector

Comment: I ordered this item because of the low price and decent reviews. The unit was unable to detect any k band radar units even when stopped behind an active radar at a traffic signal although it was able to detect a few door sensors at various banks. I placed my 4 year old radar detector alongside this unit to confirm my findings and found that this unit was not functioning properly and subsequently returned the item. Due to other satisfactory reviews it may be that I just happen to receive a defective unit and my experience is not typical.

Comment: I received this item very quickly and used it for a trip down to Florida and back. It works well with few false alarms and two mounting options are nice. I'd recommend this product

Comment: I got this radar fr my husband, he was so excited to use it, but after over a month with the radar, we don't like it. It has detected two or three police cars, but by the time it beeps, i can SEE the police car in front of me. Spend a little more and get something that does work, this is basically just an ornament for our truck :(
